Australian composer Christina Bowden has been passionate about music and composition since a young age. Eager to establish a career, Christina completed 8 grades of AMEB Classical Piano, performed in Creative Generation (2018) and SHEP (2017 and 2018), was accepted into the Young Conservatorium program for composition and attended the Conservatorium’s Tertiary Preparation program 2018. In 2021, she graduated from a Bachelor of Music in Composition at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University. In 2022, Christina moved to Sydney to study a Masters of Arts Screen: Music at the Australian Film Television and Radio School. Christina loves collaborating with other composers and musicians (having made lasting connections and friendships doing just that) and can often be found picking her colleague’s brains in an effort to learn all she can about writing for various types of instruments…
